Frequently Asked Questions

Do we take insurance?

Yes. Most insurance plans do cover chiropractic. Our staff will be able to tell you exactly what your benefits are.

Do we take Medicare?

Yes. Medicare pays for all adjustments in the chiropractic office.

What if I don’t have insurance or Medicare?

About a third of our patients pay cash only for their care. We offer a reduced price if paying at the time of service.

How long is the first visit?

Usually you will be in and out of the office in less than 1 hour.

Does the adjustment hurt?

Adjustments usually feel great and the patient is eagerly looking forward to it. Only when someone is in severe pain may an adjustment cause any discomfort and that is only for a moment. If chiropractic hurt then we wouldn’t be in business.

Do you adjust children?

Absolutely! Children have spines just like adults and have many of the same problems. Many common childhood problems like asthma, ear infections, and colic are often helped by chiropractic adjustments.

Do you also adjust the elderly?

We adjust people of all ages, regardless of age. Our oldest patient is currently 97 years old.

What if my bones are brittle and I have osteoporosis?

No worry. We use gentle tools to get the job done without any fear of hurting you.

Do I have to have x-rays?

X-rays allow us to see exactly what the state of the bones and discs are and how the alignment of the spine is. They also rule out serious problems like fractures or birth defects. For these reasons, it is usually best to take x-rays.
